Mission Statement

The goal of the laboratory is to understand how bacterial microbiota and epithelial cells sense and respond to each other, and the consequences for both microbe and animal. We design experiments not just to generate data, but to reveal by the light of reason some part of the veiled unknown. We will celebrate each others’ successes, large and small, as a team.
